I see that it also does not support I-deas, Pro/ENGINEER, and Unigraphics. Our design department is in the process of selecting a new cad system, so I don't know what they will end up with.

Has anyone used the new SpacePilot from 3Dconnexion? I am wondering how it compares to the SpaceBall 5000.

Believe what they say when you read, "we focused not only on fixing bugs, but we also spent a great deal of time on the usability aspect of Mastercam X to make sure that your productivity will increase with its use." Mastercam X has not been delayed just because of programming bugs. They probably could have released X months ago if they would have frozen all product enhancements last fall. But they have continually listened to Dealer and Beta Site feedback and made changes that they felt could not wait for X2. I have probably said too much already, but I have read many posts that try to blame the delay of X on programming errors. Believe what they say when you read, "We are confident that once Mastercam X is released and you have had a chance to use it, you will appreciate the extra time we have invested in it."

joshqmt, Try Create-Drafting-Note using the Stick font. You may need to adjust the character width and spacing to match Mastercam's Box font. Then use Modify-Break-Draft/Line to convert the text into lines that you can chain.

MILAN, I recieve Mastercam X Bulletins by email from the good people at [email protected]. I was not recieving the EBulletins, so I resubscribed on Mastercam's home page by selecting EBulletin, clicking on "here" at the bottom of page, and after filling out the form I checked the box, "Keep me up to date on the release of Mastercam X".

Kyle, I could not access mastercam.com late last night on my home computer, and had some trouble at work early this morning.
