  1. Nobody is helping me on my question on 4th axis rotation and I am not sure why. I am starting to get a complex here. I think I can help you here because I know what your saying about waiting..Search for format statements just so you can get an idea of where the numbers come from. Now search for: Toolchange / NC output Variable Formats (this is where the output is determined based on the format statement) fmt B 11 cabs #C axis position fmt B 14 cinc #C axis position This is where the format statements apply.Change 11 & 14 dependant on what you would like to see Hope this is clear & helpful
  2. Hey there!! I would like to have my post output both plus & minus when rotating the B axis. For instance I have a tool doing work @ multiple rotations I don't want them all to be positive. I want to go the shortest direction. We have an Sh5000 which is fully capable of this. I am currently using a modified morifan16 post. Any suggestions out there? Thanks
  3. I use Vericut and it has always proven to be true. Very costly though.
  4. Has anyone seen Vericut or Catia hacked or cracked?
  5. I have used this function frequently myself as I am sure many have. There are a couple of different ways to get where you want to go. Method #1..Open the Operations manager, right mouse click select job setup, in the upper right corner select import, If you want the geometry as well toggle the box to import operations with their geometry. click on import from and select the file you wish to import from..Method #2 is to use Alt+j which will take you to job set up @ which point follow the steps above. Something to keep in mind..the geo you import will come in on the level it was created on so make sure the level is empty..Good Luck
  6. I wanted to say thanks to Dave for helping me out with my post question. I have been busy like all of us of course and just got to it. I had to add a couple of extra lines as follows: G53 Z0 M9 /G325 H(PREVIOUS) Q.005 Piece of cake!! Thanks again.
  7. I have tried that and it will output the next tool H# but not the current tool...I now put the line you stated above in ptoolend and it works for the most part, the only problem is it ouputs it after the end of some tool paths as well..Can I put the post somewhere for viewing?
  8. We hava a SH5000 horizontal Mori Seki cell with pallet changer & I am trying to modify our post so it will output G325 H(Current tool) Q.005 at the end of each tool as follows: N1 G0 G17 G40 G49 G80 G90 G53 Z0 ( 2.0 DIA. 9. Is anyone utilizing Mastercam's C-Hook technology to run Vericut from within Mastercam?
  10. We are an aerospace shop with some work we need done now. Anyone interested please email me right away. Work you have done references and the like would be appreciated. Thanks
  11. If I go into NC utils, Define tools, current & change rpms etc. those changes do not take effect. When you go back into the operations manager the tools which you changed should need regeneration but this is not the case. What I end up doing is going into the operations manager picking parameters. right click the tool touch the parameters tab (in the tool definition page) then ok, ok. At that point I must regen for the change to take affect. Anyone else have this experience?
  12. How encouraging..I have 2 girls, 3-1/2 & 1 month. It can't be that bad.
