Personally, I've always had the mindset of doing it faster and more efficient. 

worked with a guy that we called 50% Bauer, because the first thing he did when he came in was turn speed and feed to 50%

if you have solidworks

try  parasolid   (.X_T)    file but roll back to version  14  in options

note pad has goto also

open in mastercam or cimco editor or you'll have to count lines

i agree, every time i finally get used to a version a new one comes out and its start all over, not just MC but all software. I don't believe we need a new version just because the date changes, in the early days it was years between.

One of my guys had an update alert pop up this morning but was busy and let it slide.

We just now run Check for updates and got "No update available"

yeah i went to CNC and downloaded it

put common stuff in right mouse button

click the arrow top right by your name  - account settings  -  signature

had to be V2, i still have a pc with V3 on it, you could only machine 1 surface at a time, had to do some creative trimming back then

v5 multisurf, i would set it up to crunch overnight only to have it run out of memory and would have to break it up into 2 or 3 programs

only select the operations that you want on the setup sheet

good to know, never used that c-hook, always used migration update

you'll need to use a few different versions, x5 or x6 is the last that will do v9.1, then you will need x8 or x9, 2018 will convert from there
