The 0.005 was just an example number. I'll clarify the question.

If my tool runout is 0.0001" on a 1/2" ball. Do I call my tool a 0.5001 or a 0.5002?

people can only answer with the information you provide,

i wouldn't add anything, but balls usually cut a hair undersize anyway

Why is this troll still being fed???

It does not matter which post it is in, the troll sniffs and then you feed him.

Almost every 2nd post is getting hijacked.

STOP FEEDING THE TROLL!!!... eventually he will clear off.

if everyone stops he'll go back to Mom's basement and play video games

I do apologize if I came across as harsh -- I spoke out of some frustration that the first response was, "Did you try the thing you already tried?"

JP's one of the MC Guru's on here, he's mellowed over time it seems, he helps many and has a wealth of MC knowledge

While, Mastercam most certainly does have bugs, blaming bugs at the first sign of trouble is usually a bad call

99% of the time when I think I've found a bug, the problem is the idiot sitting between the seat and the keyboard

i get that all the time from one operator,

    "something's wrong with your program"

ooook , let's check your tool offsets, your fixture offsets, are you running the correct program, did you even read your set up sheet ?

A few job changes ago, I mentioned here that I was running a new machine and wanted to customize a post. I asked what a good out of the box post to start with was for that particular machine. Three or four people emailed me their post. But if you come here to the forum and ask for a post, you'll get pointed to the forum rules rather quickly.

I think you'd be amazed at what is shared behind closed doors among contributing members in good standing. Just sayin. If i had it, I'd give it to you.

i can understand inHouse position as they sell posts

I can manually modify post ,but I have 30 holes and editing each one is very painful.

Because of my little experience with  Mastercam i do not quite understand your explanation. Can you please tell me more details.

    Thank you.

you could  modify drilling one hole make it a subroutine and call it up at each hole location

display a list of tools and the program name and material in excel format,

Second question, Does x+ also work with the gcode, or with Mastercam data?

best bet check it out on website
