These 2 lines in MDI
G40 G49
G5.1 Q0
That order works on one of our machines here. Something about canceling after the height offset is canceled IIRC
the G49 before the G5.1 Q0 is this correct? i ask because the link sledgeek posted shows opposite
Again, don't call in a drill or tap cycle.G05.1Q1 MUST be called before the G43 line.
G05.1Q0 MUST be called to cancel it.
G49 (tool height comp cancel) MUST be called after G05.1Q0. If you don't call G49, you cannot call/activate G05.1Q1 again (and the yellow books don't tell you this).
is it the same for an 18iMB control? we received no training in this and the manual is ... well you know

or let us know what your original filter tolerance was set at
-
create a start point where you want it and select that as part of your geometry

Ph horn My link and they have a speed and feed chart or find a local rep

is it under "screen" > enable ribbon bar modality?
-
export it to a text file, edit what you want and then import it back.

we have several hardinge bridgeport machines and are satisified with them. we have the fanuc 18imb controls on ours which have some more features than the oI-MC but like Mr/ wizzard said turn on the high speed and you'll have no problem.
-
you could just do one as a txt file. go into your toolpaths, then tool manager, right click the tool file and import/export, convert tool a library to text and then view the format. then create your own txt file with the same format and import it back to mastercam. i have made mass edits to my current file this way.

sorry DTM so of us don't have a Mazak Integrex, which also requires the lathe license. i've been lurking to possibly learn something as well.

good point P_Scott, you may need to be on COM 2 or 3 ...

on the transmit page did you place a % sign in the start trigger column?
also do you have a % sign at the start of your program?
-
i had a yasnac mill and had it set like:
stopbit = 1
data = 7
parity = even
and have a % at the start trigger
have a % at the start and end of your program hth

What machine?

nice thad, but unfortunately it lists all the ops not the ones pertaining to the selected geometry

I guess is it possible to hire someone to build a post that every time it finds a tool change I can assign g54,g55,g56,g57 and so on witch would be a huge time saver.
your re-seller should be able to help you with that. would you be able to attach a sample of what you're trying to do?

I came across this issue once before and I just added logic in the post not to output 2 consecutive rotary only moves.
