  1. you just copy your part and rotate it to needed view.
  2. To continue discussions about parametric - nonparametric CAD. The guy that that I mentioned before - Adriaan T. swithed from MC to F360 for creating models.
  3. No problem. Even his amazing videos didn't convince me that modeling in MC is better than modeling in SW or SolidEdge.
  4. http://linkedin.com/in/adriaantebrugge
  5. Do you have Linkedin profile? If so look for Adriaan T. he has plenty of videos there about creating good stuff in MC,
  6. You cannot be sarcastic about global warming otherwise Greta Thunberg will sue you.
  7. I made 3 options: 1st - Area roughing - For High Feed cutters I prefer over OptiRough, 2nd - Classic Rough Parallel. It's not ideal - leaving big steps that needed to be removed. 3rd - Classic Rough Pocket. For High Feed cutter you cannot drop your tool down like solid carbide. I used .040" down and 70% stepover, change it to SECO catalog suggestion. 3D_TEST.mcam
  8. I used Solidworks for years until started to work for the company which doesn’t have it. it took me a while to get used to use MC for CAD and I hated it. Now I do have SW but still use MC for modelling fixtures, clamps etc. It’s easy to make everything in one place. Still modelling and assembling is easier in SW.
  9. I liked 2023 for multiaxis over 2022. 2022 was really unstable for me. Maybe it just wasn't set correctly.
  10. Nobody asks MC to have full CAD functions like assembling many components or stress simulate, Having parametric sketcher would only benefit us as programmers and safe our time.
  11. LOL For non-parametric CAD yes, but it will always loose to parametric one.
  12. I use 2024 and find it pretty steady, no annoying bugs so far. There are some minor improvements to make your life easier and some improvements to make your life harder. Updated stock is become easier since you can run simulation having updated Stock model at beginning of your ops. Fixturing became stupidly harder to use.
  13. I don't believe they will fix issue of stock/fixture in 2024. Maybe 2025, maybe 9 years later.
  14. Everyone wants real CAD inside Mastercam.
  15. +1 And set color for each level. I loved it in CorelDraw.
  16. Talk to CrazyMillMan about folders in levels. He asks for them for how long? 7 years? We will get changes from TRIM to DYNAMIC TRIM and back 3 more times and then maybe (not promises) folders.
  17. Thank you too. I aware of this function and use it. I just want it like in Solidworks - click the button and get section on other side that's it no more.
  18. Thank you for suggestion. The point it I knew it and use it every day. Just wanted to get my life a little easier and keep my custom plane direction as it was created. Laziness is in my blood.
  19. What is really missing here is availability to flip section view using the same plane,
  20. You can use Mastercam in many ways, it just your own preferences. I use different Machine definitions on a part and a fixture within one file, even if they made from the same material. Flexibility it’s a prone of Mastercam, but also it’s a con. I had an experience with SoliCam, Setup - how they call Machine definition is can be set the only one way for the whole part machining.
  21. The reason why I hated Box is when Stock Model was used as a stock for Verification and became dirty, Stock for Verification creates this Box and not calling Stock Setup which makes more sense.
  22. This one - BOX I hated the most and glad it to see it's gone.
  23. This one I wanted to ask as an ENHASMENT REQUEST in official forum a week ago. Seems like official forum is more dead than alive most of the time.
