Hello!! We have modified MP master X4 vertical mill 4 axis post, set B is rotation around x axis and CW is positive. For simple index drilling two holes at B20 and B-20, post gives continuous output of " B20 and B340 ". I tried changing all rot_type 0, 1, 2 in the post but didn't get desired output. how can i get B20 - B-20 type output. Sincerely, Ravi.

Hi everyone, granted that I am a beginner in using mastercam, I need help on the following topics: Implementation of rotation around B-axis (i.e. rotation about Y axis) with MPFAN post-processor (Mastercam default machine). I would like to use Mastercam default machine as an horizontal milling center with axes of motion XYZB. How should I set up the WCS and CPlane/TPlane to obtain rotation about B-axis? Any suggestions or tips would be welcommed. Thanks in advance.

Hello Everyone, I'm teaching a new class on Post Processing for MT_Lathe posts through www.eapprentice.net. This class will walk you through the entire process of creating a 4X MT_Lathe post processor. In this class we will be taking the Generic Fanuc 4X MT_Lathe post and configuring it to run a Mori Seiki NL 2500 machine. This class does not cover the new MT product, which uses MP.NET for the posting language. It is designed to cover the current MP-based post processor. In addition to Post code and configuration, we'll also be covering how to setup and run the Lathe product in conjunction with your post. For more information about what is covered in this course, please use the link below. http://www.eapprenti...ercam_pp_lathe/ Thanks and best regards, Colin Gilchrist
