  1. Currently we only have one user that uses Mastercam 2018. On a different old computer we have Mastercam X6 installed and using Nhapsx the user of 2018 is able to grab the license from the older comp running X6. Is their a way for our one 2018 user to have the Nhaspx license on his comp so that the older comp running X6 can be done away with. Sorry if this is a bit vague, I don't use Mastercam myself, I'm IT just trying facilitate moving the hasp to a different machine.
  2. I have a 64bit computer running Windows Xp - I am using Mastercam X6 - We have three licenses for Router Plus and one floating license for Pro. The plus versions always starts with no problem but when i need to start the pro version i get an error "Error checking out a router level 3 license". Mastercam will load after I click the ok button on the error dialog box but will not have any 5 axis features available. The hasp was on another machine which was 32bit so we moved it to my machine thinking that may make a difference but it has not. The solution we came up with was to restart the services "HASP License Manager" and "HASP Loader" and then it will load with no problem. Does anyone have any suggestions or solutions for this problem?
  3. Hi, I'm a teacher using Mastercam X5 over a network. Last year all my PC's connected with the red USB hasp with no problem. I tried to launch Mastercam X5 for the first time in 6 months and find that it can't find the network hasp. Tried many things: restart server, move hasp to different USB port, Stop/Start the HASP services on server. Nothing is working. (I know of the need to launch NHASP and set SIM type to NetHASP and Mode to Network. Previous threads on the subject not helpful. Don't see why things would stop working. Configuration is exactly the same as it was last year. Any suggestions appreciated. -John
  4. I have checked the other threads in relation to the "No Sim Found" message but none quite fit our issue. I just loaded a new install of X6 on a new machine (Windows 7 64Bit) and get the "No Sim Found" message when starting X6. I tried the Sentinel Driver fix but we did not have the 6.55 drivers but instead have the 6.50 and Windows shows it running in device manger.. Also, if I go the the Sentinael Hasp on port 1947 the screen shows it running, see attached screen shot. Based on converstions with support I ran the latest HASPUserSetup.exe from sentinel as the one one at C:\Program Files\mcamx6\common would not run and sent a message back that it "Could not run the DLL library C:\Windows\System32\haspds_windows.dll. The specific module could not be found.", also see attached Again the downloaded Hasp Setup program ran fine and lets me see the Hasp. Also, tried running HaspX and it says No HASP Found. This Hasp does work on a 32 Bit XP Machine. NHASP x shows it set as a HASP and as Local and the Registryy settinsg match this. As added information I have uninstalled Kaspersky to make sure it is not the issue and our Firewall is open and according to our main IT person it is not blocking it and the Screenshot woudl sort of confirm that. MasterCam support wants me to restore the PC to its orginal settings and start again and I wanted to avoid that if possible.
