Right mouse button menu question

Afternoon all

Wondering how I can save my right mouse button menu? 

I keep losing it about once a month lately and it goes back to the default settings.

Suggestions?

Your right mouse bottom menus are saved in this file

"C:\Users\***  your username *** \Documents\My Mastercam 2022\Mastercam\CONFIG\Mastercam.Workspace"

If you are losing them once a month, that file is being overwritten somehow

Is more than one user logging in user your username

No, I'm the only one that uses it.  I was thinking it has something to do with our servers.

somehow that file is being overwritten

make a copy of it when you have your right mouse buttons dialed in and keep it in a safe place

then figure out why the existing file gets overwritten.

one thing to keep in mind..  if that file gets deleted, Mastercam will write a fresh default file

the next time Mastercam is launched.

That file can get corrupted and prevent Mastercam from launching.

Then you have to delete it... so it's always good to have a copy in a safe place

could be virus protection

ours was always flagging X+ as a virus and disabling it

I keep my config backups on our server drive. I don't lose them very often but it's a PITA when it does happen with no backup.

Mine will do that if I have an instance of mastercam open and the IT guy updates the server or my pc at night. other than  few right click buttons I run really close to stock interface less stuff to mess with and remember how to get back
