Thanks for the reply's. It sounds like the answer

to my question is "Sort of, maybe" biggrin.gif

I've been putting off buying maintenance till just before X comes out so that the I can maximise

X maintenance time. Its getting harder to justify the wait though.

I could really use some of the stuff they put out

in the March release.

So far all the dealers got 1 disk. CNC is supplying disks to the dealers, for customers. We dont have those yet. I know it's not expensive to burn a copy for you, but it is time consuming for your dealer to do. I'm sure your dealer will be sending you a disk when he gets them from CNC. Hang tight everyone. I hate waiting to "get the new stuff" also biggrin.gif .

After I installed the March update, my finish contour cutter paths take forever to generate. We machine small electrodes and generally use .001 step downs. Yesterday one operation sat there for 3 hours and I had to use Task Manager to get out of it. When I use .oo5 step downs ,it still takes longer than it use to. Any ideas ?

Do you have version before march update .If so ,compare the defaults ,and allocations for toolpath and geometry too.
