Hasp not found

I got to work this morning and tried to open mastercam v9.1 and got the Hasp not found error.

Opened the hasp9.exe and it shows hasp not found

also. Everything was working fine 2 days ago.

Is there a way to check the hasp out to see if it has gone bad? I've already checked it on a different computer and get the same results.

Thanks

CQualls,

If you run hasp.exe and it can't find the hasp,

there are three possibilities.

1. Your parallel port is bad--- not likley, you

got similar results on a different computer

2. Your hasp has died. It does happen. I've had

happen once in 6 years.

3. Someone has replaced your Mastercam hasp with

a dead demo hasp. I've seen that happen too.

You'll need to get in touch with your dealer

to resolve this.

Thanks, for the input. I'm usually the first one to get here in the mornings and found out when everyone else arrived that we had lightning strike yesterday, I took the day off yesterday. Took out one computer and apparently the mastercam hasp.

Already have a new one ordered it will be here tomorrow, in the meantime our reseller is lending a hasp to us, he should be by in a couple of hours with it.

Thanks for the help
