I scoured the forum for the answer…..I changed the “misc values” interger 2 to “1” (was zero).

I want to post incremental/G91 a “surface finish project” program.

Whether this value is 0 or 1 it still post in abs/G90.

I am posting for a cinncinati machine with a acramatic control using a MPA2100E.PST post.

Do I have to change the post also?

Search your post for mr1 & mr2. If you dont see them in any formulas they are not being used by your post. Also when you go to your misc values page in mastercam does the text out from misc 1 or 2 say anything about absolute or incremental? Most post writers will change the text file associated with the post to display what each misc value is used for. Open up a new mc9 file, create a line. Go to job set-up and select mpfan post. Contor the line, look at the misc values page. See how the first 3 misc integers are documented. Do you see that when using your post? If not you post probably is not using these misc values for anything.
