Scott,

Use the Pro-E converter in Mcam if your company has licensed it. If not, IGES is your only other option. File-Converters-ProE-Read file. If you get a message asking for an access code after you Browse for the file, you're out of luck. Talk to your Mcam reseller and maybe they can convert it for you as a one time demonstration. I use the pro-e converter and it works great!

The solids i get from pro-e are as good as solid models i convert from solidworks (sldprt).

If you have a problem converting or you can't get you reseller send me the file, i will convert it for you (i hope i am not offering somthing illegal, after all i don't think it is a problem helping once in a while). smile.gif

Scott,

If you don't get the "access code" message after reading for the file, you most likely have the Pro-E converter. Do you have the latest patches for the converter? Is it Wildfire II? The Pro-E converter patch from the end of June supports Wildfire II Pro-E files. Dropping the ".1" from the extension on the filename should make no difference. HTH cheers.gif

BTW Elad, nice gif of an RX7. cool.giffirebounce.gifcool.gif I've always wanted an RX7 but with the original body style. The last body style before they discontinued it was OK too.

Thanks for the offers to help, but

their were over 300 files. The customer

will help us by giveing iges files.

We don't have the ProE coverter,,over

300 files is not a one convert.

The company will pony up for it, but

I'm saveing our budget for set-up sheets,

meta-cut, and a simco editor.

Thanks cheers.gif
