On the operation you want to (DO SOMETHING), Toolpath, Manual Entry allws you to put in text. Then, in the operation you want it to happen, check the "Canned Text" box, go in there, select "Stop - M00", and press before radio button and then the Add button.

This shoudl do it.

mcpgmr,

in the parameters of your manual entry operation, ther is a box in the lower right corner that says NCI output method and you have the choice of 1005 or 1006. Might want to play with those. If this doesn`t work, then there is probably something to modify in your post.

Hope that helps,

1005 and 1006. One is set up to ad a "()" to whatever is in the text field and one isn't. Try what you want with 1005 selected and see if it posts out like you want it to. If it doesn't, then try the same thing with 1006.

Or you can search for this in your post.

code:

pcomment2       #Comment from manual entry

scomm = ucase (scomm)

if gcode = 1005, scomm

if gcode = 1006, "(", scomm, ")",e

if gcode = 1007, "(", scomm, ")",e

if gcode = 1008, "(", scomm, ")",e

As you can see, the 1006 will spit out "()"...which is not what you want. This is how our post is set.

P.S. Looks like Harry's post is set up like ours.
