The verify only has one tool holder definition...Unfortunetly

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
You do can draw your custom holder and use it !
copy your ...milltoolsholder.MC9
to
...milltoolsoriginalholder.MC9
edit your ...milltoolsholder.MC9
geometry under Mastercam to use it
instead or former one
That's what I do. I have drawn one regular holder and one with an extension. You can also define your spindle housing here if you want, to help see interference with the spindle. It won't be exact though, unless your spindle housing is cylindrical.
When defining tools, I set the holder length to 0.0 and just need to define the tool (stickout, diameter, etc).
Could you draw the holder on the end of the tool and uncheck the "use holder" box. Then you could edit to the FLATMILL.MC9 file and add the toolholder to there, as well as for all the other tool files, for DRILL.MC9 you could draw the drill chuck. You could also define a separate file for say 1/2" end mill up to 1 1/2" end mill and draw the different holders directly into the .MC9 custom tool file.
Not a good idea ,JMHO
It is way too complex and not good and Mc9 will regard holder as tool in toolpath calculation and will show you holder on holder if you`ll check holder option .
Way to complex
Write batch files if you are lazy and attach them to the icons
Looks like its on the "to do" list.
September Maintenance release includes a Chook called chkholder for checking the holder against the part. If you click on the help button the text file states
3) Holder library is under development. The holder definition will be expanded to include tool extensions and complex holder shapes.
