How do I know exactly what version of mastercam I am running?

Alt-V while in Mastercam will tell you the version.

The bar at the top of Mastercam should tell you the current patch version.

If that's the case, I am running MR0304. I installed MR0304, then MR0904, then the updates through Oct. zip file.

 

I have no idea what I have now.

When you run a surface rough pocket or some other

operation that uses MR0904 features you will see

it pop up at the bottom left of your screen.

The latest release MR0105 declares itself in the title bar so there is no doubt what's installed.

download the mr0904 checker and run it.

Marc that does not work so I would not trust it. I got MR105 to load just fine but that checker kept saying I did not have MR904 and if I did not Mr105 would not have loaded.

Marc Ron is right it does not work and was never pulled from the site.

I downloaded and installed MR0505 dated 1/27/05

and installed it. It seems to be working fine.

The original that cause the trouble was dated

1/25/05.

I never knew that MR0904 checker was there so I don't know if it works or not.

Where are you guys getting MR0105?

dealers extranet. It should be up on the Mastercam

download page next week.

Check your mcam9 folder for a backup folder. This is created by the mr0904 update.
