or, you click on add or edit, depending on wether it is already assigned.

Then click on find key.

Then push the key on your key board that you want to use.

If it is already in use it will tell you.

Then click ok or change it and click ok.

Then it will ask you overwrite y n

done,

don't forget to save your config file again or next time you open MC it will be lost.

I didnt want to start a new topic on this and it kind of goes along with stevieboys. I noticed in the same area you assign the keys for example you can use alt-f1. Then I see there are some of them in there that are b17 etc. I understand the alt-f1 but how do you use the b17. I realize this is probably the beginner question of the year. Thanks in advance and I am almost embarrassed to ask.

Those are your icons up on top Kannon...For example as a default it starts with B01 as your Help icon, B02 is File icon, etc...

Hope that answers your question...

Thanks a Ton,

I didnt even think about the icon buttons on the top of the screen. Maybe I should have opened a new topic on this so everyone can see that even beginners can ask what seems to be a embarrassing questions with out the fear of being hacked on.

I sure appreciate the response and the professionalizm this forum offers.
