ALT-A..........wtf

So today my alt-a doesnt work. I can go to file/save and all that, but I like to just hit alt-a and do a quick save. No that doesnt work either....

 

 

Am I alone on this?

I feel for ya guy,

that actually works for me. Im waiting for a full up to date cd from the resale guys. I think somthins wacked with updating from the maintanance download. I also have some defalts that keep changing on me. if I go into add and remove programs I see 3 mastercams show up

Did you check screen,configure,toolbar/keys to be sure Alt-a is still assigned to File/save ?

Just did Jim, and yes it is assigned to Alt-A.

I had that same problem. I had downloaded a game from Mcdonalds and the problem started. I uninstalled the game , then I removed something else, but cannot exactly remember what it was. I remember going to the task manager and removing a process called motive.exe HTH

If you try to assigne autosave to another key (ie: Alt+Q), does it work?

Did you try typing with the A key to see if its the keyboard ? And did you try to assign it back to Alt-A ? That would be an alt-ernative.

I had the exact same thing happen. I re-assigned it to ALT-Q and it works, but ALT-A still has not worked. Q is pretty close to A and doesn’t take a lot to get used too.
