Which Product would be best for this project

No response from the reseller forum so I will try here. Look at the panel below and tell me which router product would be best for this type of work. Router with Engraving option, Router with Mcam Art option, or Router Pro and draw as solids and use surfaces to program.

It would have to be Mastercam Art. The Engraving add-on will only work for parts that are flat (flat panel type carving).

I also would think ART would be your best bet. Solids could be done but a pain. I am doing some thing right know from Poser to Rhino to Mastercam. Wish I had ART to try but with the price tag thinking I like that I am not having to spend money and letting others give me the files as Rhino.

Crazy, if you can model up that part in Solids, then you really are more of a man than I am. (But I am still better looking)

Hey that crazy ain't there for the fun of it. Yeah I tired the runway model stuff but was costing me too much to let them give me time on the stage cuase i look that bad but hey atleast I got the brains.

 

I am that one person who will try anything once to see if I can do it.

This door is actually done in U.S.A. I have a customer who is doing this type work on old style router we used to build. He has been using Scanvek and I am trying to convert him to Mastercam but this is beyond me for sure. I figured Art was best way to go but wanted the experts opinion. Anyone here actually using ART? I have played with it but not had time to learn it yet.

Hi All

From what I see this would be a slam dunk in art the bears the branches and the spray at the end of the the branches would be very easily modeled in mastercam Art. You could also scan this if it was a mastercarving and import the STL into Art to toolpath it or modify it.

My titile is wrong on the post, I am the product manager for Mastercam Art. So other than Karlo Apro the AE assigned to ART I don't think there is any one out there with more experience on this product.
