Compare to STL file?

Good Morning..

 

We are wondering what has happened to our ability to compare a machined solid to an stl solid in turbo verify mode.

 

It will run through it okay and when you select "Machined" and then select "STL File", both of them show up okay. but when you select compare .. it just doesn't do anything it leaves the machined part up on screen. Any ideas?

We don't have that option but somebody here has to know what's wrong.How about it Cadist ?

Could there be vertical walls in the stl file or undercuts on the part that you are trying to verify?

We don't machine solids, but when machining surfaces and comparing to an STL, we have no problem, in this regard.

 

You wouldn't happen to have your color map set to yellow, would you? That would make the compared file appear like it wasn't.
