boolean remove with an undercut?

I think I lost my scrupples>sp?

I am trying to do a boolean remove with and undercut...can it be done?

 

One more...How do you do a boolean remove with a solid "shell"? Or how do I make a solid out of a solid sheet shell?

 

Struggling today...lost...

Can do a sweep to remove it looking in a front or side view? Can make a soild that is the complete undercut to do it? Can do a extrude to do it or even a revolve remove to do if it is a round shape?

 

 

Sheet soild I would just go to surfaces.

You can thicken those solid sheets, but since its

a shell you need to be careful they don't cross

each other.
