TPCFG.DLL Toolpath Configuration C-Hook

Anyone ever used this and understand what it really does? I just learned about it helping Thad in another post. I am trying to read/understand the help lesson right now.

 

Any help in understanding it would be greatly appriciated.

That is what I was/am looking at. Just not sure that I understand it all. Was wondering if anyone had some more practical reasoning as to what some of the differences are and when they are useful.

As was poined out in the other thread today, it can sometimes be helpful to temporarily disable the FZT feature. Occasionally that's the only way I can get certain routines to work.

 

That's about the only time I use that c-hook... I normally leave everything enabled.

TPCFG.DLL is one of the greatest chook available with Mastercam. I use it very often. Particularly the create cuts on flat surface, in cavity like shape is great. using stl file as raw material in restmill. are few great uses.

Basically, it's just a chook that allows you to turn certain features on or off. Do a search for more info. I started a thread on it some time ago. Back when I learned about it, I selected all features on and pretty much forgot about it.
