MCX plot ? Where is it ?

I can't seem to find "plot" in MCX. I am trying to plot a full size "E" drawing...

Good question. I cant find it either. I even look under "Help" and searched the word "Plot".

It's there. Just select print. You will notice you can scale part or not. If you don't select scale it's like hardcopy in 9. If you select 'scale by 100%', you got your plot in V9. But in X you can scale by any amount which you couldn't to in V9 such as 200% scale - now you got the part's exact size x2. The actual geo remains unchanged as this is not an XForm/Scale. Pretty nifty!!

I would like to know how to get a 1-1 print as well. I can't seem to figure out why printing at 100% scale will sometimes be 1-1 and sometimes be something completely off the wall.

maybe you forgot to check mark it? Scaling the profile by 100% in the print setup page should plot out your design to spec.

I think you are rite. I was not checking the box. However, when I print a 5x5 square it's about .025 to small...any thoughts?

I take back what I said before. I just tried printing from another computer and it tries to fill out the page instead of printing 1-1. Even with the box checked.

Good observation as I used it for smaller parts. The 5 by 5 rect. when scaled by 100% and printed is indeed slightly off! I did the same test in MC9 and the rect was right on the money. Hmmm...

I think my 1-1 print vs full page issue is a printer setting. We have 6 printers on our network. Some of them will preview 1-1 and some will preview full page even with the box checked.

I can't get *anything* to plot full scale. A 3X3 square comes out about 15.75 square! Is this a limitation in Demo?

Typically in Demo the math values are corrupted as part of the protection of the Software. At least that's been the case in the past.

I've seen that before in V9 Demo where MC will round a location off when analyzing, but I thought this was a little extreme.

I believe I have figured out my 1-1 issue. I can print something from Mastercam 1-1, but if I attempt to print again it will try to fill the page. If I restart Mastercam it will let me have a 1-1 again. Anyone have any thoughts?

I am running full install from CD, and am having the same problem. I can’t print 1:1

Has anyone figured this out yet?
