What's up with latest patch?????

Unfortunately I was the first in our room who loaded it. Just to check my settings because I forgot to save my config, I wrote a "quick" pocket routine in a rectangle. I "?" because it wasn't very quick at all and it got to a point that said "writing toolpath to disk" "enter number of miscellaneous real intergers to change" WHAT? It hung up there for quite sometime then out of frustration I hit the escape key and all was good.

What in the world is going on? That program should have taken less than a millisecond to process and I would say it took at least 5 seconds to get to the writing to disk part.

Anyone? Anyone?

Did you have Mcam running when you installed the patch? If so did you restart Mcam?

Did you run the Appcfg chook to turn the new features on?

No MC wasn't running and doh! I forgot. I guess it pays to read the instructions. I will try that.

Ooops. I've just been informed that we jumped the gun a bit early on the Surface machining App patch. The link will be removed until QC gives the go ahead - hopefully later today.

so if we turn off the boxs in the Acccof in the Chooks will this stop it for now?

I've put that last set of App Patches back up on the Patches page. They will overwrite this 10-01-2001 patch and replace the functionality.
