Moldplus and MR1

I guess I should have checked it out before I installed mr1, but it looks like moldplus won't work with mr1 until they update it.

 

Anyone know if this is true or not?

I get the Moldplus errors at startup. My guess is that it was removed during the uninstall/install (assuming you did it that way). I was just going to install it again and see what happens.

Moldplus like all C-Hooks probably does need to be updated. If you installed in a parallel directory we did not copy any C-hooks over because they may not work. That is one of the reasons why we allow parallel installs.

 

We did not remove it with the uninstall because it is not a file we installed, that is one of the rules of the uninstall. It only knows about files we put there.

Yeah, no problem Ken, I know these things need updating, was hoping mp would work without an update, but didn't get so lucky.

The c hooks are still there but I get the errors.

 

Have you tried opening it or just going by the error report?

 

What are the ft extensions in the c hooks directory?

I am wondering if it just needs a toolbar created?

 

I see a toolbar but nothing in it where my moldplus used to be.

I ran the Mold Plus chook and I get "unknown file type." Looks like it's hosed until they update it.

Yeah, I tried uninstall, reinstall, etc and no luck, will have to hope they come out with the update pretty soon.

There are updated DLL.s For MR1 and should be avalbe soon to the puplic. Both for the Moldpluse & Catia from Moldplus. I am testing them now.

You need to get the latest update (1-31-06) version 9.2.061

Yes but you need a password. Your reseller can get you one. You may also need new Moldplus access codes.

FYI, no new codes needed here. Just download and and install. You're dealer may even have a CD by now.
