Hello everyone

Is there a way to to move the mastercam part to SYSTEM ORIGIN without losing any geometry? ( My part is a large part contents lots of surfaces....)I tried to convert them to 1 solid, but it's still mising some geometries when i use xform. It's ok to work with different WCS, but when I merge with another file ,it's a pain!

thank you for your helps

I had the same problems until I realized that I had to merge a file without defining an insertion point. If I did so, I lost all trimmed surfaces from my DWG. What I end up doing is merge a file to a specific level and then move that geometry where I need it.

Hope that helps,

I called In-house solution today, they said that MR1 must be intalled to solve that problem, I have just finished the download,I will install it tomorrow and try again, thank you very much for your helps.

Martin, did you install the MR1 and still have the same problem?

If it's not working tomorrow, I'll send the files to Tech Support, they are just standard 3D cavity and core

once again, thanks everyone in here

Allen
