anyone out there using an elsa synergy3d on 98.

Im talking to a customer in England with cursor difficulty.

has already tried all easy fixes.

Just looking for someone with same card in same OS

Since the 32meg version costs around 425.00 and the 64meg version cost around 950.00 I wish you luck with finding users of this card- especially among us po forum folk. It better be an awesome card for that price.

Is this the card,you use,and do have problems with it.mines been on back order

for a couble weeks 64 meg,but for NT.Is it o.k. or should i stick with the 32 i am runnin.

It wasnt quite 950.00,we got it for 700.Thanks for any info.

Have you tried the latest drivers?

I'm running an Elsa Synergy III on Win 2K

with no problems.

Greg, your customer has 6 times more money in his video card than win2k cost. Can I make a suggestion....................

I'll suppose he's got 512MB RAM in his Win98 box too? I'll say it - DUMP WINDOWS 98 and get a real OS! Of course it'real easy for me to say that, I'm not the poor soul who's got to go to his boss and beg for a few bucks to make the computer a real computer with a real OS. I don't envy him one bit.

I to suggest WIN2K. I suggest this to every one it even helps mastercam speed wise I feel.

Hey James, I had a 4 door 5 speed chevette diseal (diesal, disell?) It was battleship grey.

 

It got about 100 miles to the gallon and couldn't go up hill. But once you got it up to 40mph look out.

 

I had to buy a 340 duster just to detox myself form the experience of owning the car.

I had a friend with a Duster and he had the meanest sounsystem I ever heard even to this day. Something like 4500-5000 Watts. 2 Deep cycle marine batteries, HUGE alternator. 4 15" SUbs and a bunch or other stuff. Ripped out the back seat and everyhting. Man Oh Man, the days of disposable income........ I've got about 15 more years to go before I'll have disposable income again.
