I try to expand a toolgroup(unhandled exception/

shutdown)

I post a tool path,3rd one in that file, control

def is missing all of a sudden. reload def/crashed

Try to regenerate a dirty path...MC blinked off.

Merge data into file... Blinked off

(A few others that I cannot recall)

I have restarted MC x2mr2 9 times today. I have had good success up to this point.(started

counting after the 3rd one)

No new updates or install recently either.

Has any one been getting any of these random

crashes?

I had 1 freeze today when trying to use Arc Multi Edit CHOOK. I'm not sure if it's the latest, but it was in the chook folder, it changed all the arcs but I could not get rid of the window and had to restart mcam. Other than that, no problems

I find its the ops manager, if I click on a parameters of a program and it does nothing, it's gonna crash. I haven't had it crash on me in awhile (knock on wood). Some days it crashes once or and some times it has crashed up to 10 or so times. It was worse with MR1.

Greg,( I went from X2 to MR2)

I click on geometry to reselect and it does not

take, it just flashes blue, then I have no choice

but to close MC and start again.

James,

I am doing exactly the same, setup an all,

it has only been today with the multiple crashes.

I took the file home and worked for 2 hours flawless.

(quad 4 at home 1 monitor)

when I get to work tomorrow I am going to reboot

before I start my day. It used to be the only

reliable fix for X2 before X2 SP1 came out.

(I am not giving up, i won't go back to S2 sp1.

That not the reason I purchased the maintenance.)

When you guys get the "When I click on parameters crash"

Do this.

Reopen the file, do a "Save As", pick a different name and reload your machine definition into the new file.

See if that helps.

I shut my box off at night so I'm starting fresh

in the morning. I usually reboot at least once a day if the files I'm working on have lots of toolpaths or large solid models.

I don't remeber the last time I had a crash with X2_MR2

Yes, I ALWAYS reboot. Not because I have to but I don't see any real need for my computer to be running if I'm not using it. Less energy consumption less $$ out the door.
