Difference in lathe levels

What does Lathe entry not have besides the C/Y-Axis and live tooling support?

 

I can't find anything on mastercam.com that is very specific.

It also doesn't have verify. Not a big deal with lathe, as backplot works good for 2-axis.

Thanks for the info, hard to believe they can't give you verify in a basic lathe package. I thought I had an operation it didn't like because I created this file in class on level 1.

 

I guess I'll go with the backplot for now and see how it works out.

I have entry. Never needed to verify anything because the backplotter works well.

Verify is a 3rd party product. If they included it there would be an additional licensing charge which would increase your costs.

The idea behind "entry" is low prices.

Backplot is more than adequate for 2D lathe work.
