machining a guitar body

hi all, has anyone had any experience in machining a complete guitar? including body and neck.. if so is there a place you can go on the net to get a model of the guitar body for machining purposes? thanks paul

i'm pretty sure there are a few models in the mc9 folder on the ftp. not sure if they include both the body and the neck.

Trevor and myself have both machined many guitar parts. It's alot of work to complete one but well worth it. I have some files I can share if you like. This post should be moved to Wood working.

it is probably close to one of the ones you modeled for Austin. when i got all the files, i sat down with him and remodeled all of the ones you did. it was easier for me to just start over with all the changes he wanted made....ALWAYS.

 

here is the one above in the final stages. you should have had these files Jay. i gave Austin everything when i stopped working with him.
