Trying a new moldbase DMS usually we use DME moldbases.

 

They are aound 75% or so lower priced. Anyone else use them or maybe even make them.

 

The base came in alright, but is a little stained from the oil they coat them with to keep from rusting. So far that is the only complaint, just doesn't look good with stains for a new base.

Try kerosene or wd 40 might get the stains out.

When i did mold work we always used to buy from PCS Company they have very good quality bases

I use to work for DME Canada, and DMS use to own part of DME so we use to make mold bases for both company. When it comes to DME, if you make enough noise you can get a whole lot of work done for next to nothing. I remember a company in the States would get every 4th moldbase done for free, they would fuss so much that they got 25% off every mold base. They are desperate to keep work coming in.
