Mastercam X2 Software is running slow!

I am running Mastercam X2 and when i start up it takes around 10 minutes for it to load. Then i have to wait another 5 or so minutes before i can actually work in it. I turned down the accelerator in my graphics card but it did not help. Any suggestions?

I don't think it's the card. Test it by pulling the card out and using the onboard graphics. Make sure you have up to date drivers for both the card and onboard video. If that does not help, try shutting off all other apps 1st, then fire up MC. 10 minutes is insane. I'm up and running on a turdy computer with on board grapics in under 45 seconds with 24 processes running in the background.

Have your dealer review your computer's specs

Is it an old 386 ??

make sure that you do not have any un-needed app's starting up at the same time when you boot the pc.
