Modifying Arcs

Hello All,

 

I searched high and low for this.

 

Can someone tell me how to change many arcs all with the same color to a certain diameter.

 

I'm sure it's doable but just can't seem to find the answer.

On the forum FTP site in the X2_Add_ons folder, get Arc MultiEdit (X2).zip.

With this add-on you can do it.

so I downloaded the c-hook.

 

Used it.

 

worked great.

 

However now the little box will not close.

 

I'm stuck, Help!!!

Click in the view screen and hit ESC twice. Usually works for me

Restart city man, experienced it many times. I think it fails with pre-selection.

Interesting.... Never had that issue. It has always gone away for me after hitting ESC twice.

I had it happen yesterday as well when I was getting ready to reply to this thread initially. By the time I did it, there were already 2 replies so I didn't reply. I was too busy restarting because the window would not close.

I re-booted the computer and since then it has worked fine.

OK Lee, are you using Alt-c to get to the C-hook or did you load the C-hook onto your toolbar? Mine works fine if I load it onto my toolbar and run it but not if I use Alt-C to load it.

I tried it both ways Tommy, however after I re-booted I only tried the toolbar icon.

 

I will try alt-c and then let you know how I make out.

I've not experienced this or have never had anyone report it. I just downloaded the Arc MultiEdit from the forum FTP (The Arc MultiEdit.DLL is dated 10/17/2006 and is tagged as Version 11.0.3.25), and it runs fine for me (with X2-MR2).

Using pre-selection or not, startup using Toolbar or ALT-C. Clicking the (green) check button and it does its thing (Radius or Offset or Scale) and exits. Click on the (red) X button (or the upper X close button) and the dialog closes without doing anything to the selected arcs, as it should, since I'm telling it to cancel.

 

If anyone can come up with a way to replicate this "dialog will not close" (which is just too weird!) error condition - please let us know and we will definitely look into it.

 

*Are you doing pre-selection or not.

*Startup using toolbar or ALT-C

*Which function is selected? (Radius, Offset or Scale)

*Are you editing several, several dozen or hundreds of arcs/circles?

*Full (360 deg.) circles or partial circles?

 

I just tried all and it's working correctly every time for me.

It's working fine for me now in all instances.

 

However before re-booting the computer it didn't matter what I did, I had to CTL-ALT-DEL and stop mastercam.

Hey Everyone,

 

Tried using this today and had the same issue...wouldn't close. Tries ESC and that didn't work. Right-Clicked in the Radius field and it crashed.
