Installation of Mastercam X2

I am looking for some advice. I have a copy CD Mastercam X2 and trying to install on my PC. It gets to a certain stage in the installation but does not complete it. Does anyone have any tips? Thank you!

Well we need more then it stops, can you tell me what it says or doing when it stops.

Thanks for the responses and sorry for the delay in reply and thanking! I have been away. I am still strugling with the following difficulty while installing Mastercam X2:

 

1.2. Generate registry file "haspemul.reg" (run "keygen.exe" abd click "Generate")

 

When I run the keygen.exe and click on 'generate' I get the response 'Error writing HASPEMUL.reg'

 

Can anyone advise what I am doing wrong, and do I leave the username as it stands? This is a copy that I am using at home for educational purposes only.

 

I did load the service pack 1 as suggested earlier. Thanks for that!

This sounds like a "unofficial" version of MasterCAM. If you want to run MasterCAM you should buy a licens from your local reseller.

Keygen? That's usually associated with cracked software. The educational version X that came with a book I purchased never displayed those messages. Also, I dont think you can take a full version and convert it for educational use, but I could be wrong.
