Save warning

I've never seen this before when trying to save a file, until today

where you saving to a memory stick that is no longer plugged in? i have had that happen when i take the usb out

No just a normal save after 3 hours work

 

I found a bug in the facing toolpath maybe that did it?

I have sent it of to QC.

Using X3 MU1

David, that looks like the warning when trying to save to a 'read only' file. Any chance the file is 'read only' ??

That happend to me as well, you have to change the file name and then it will save.

I had to do a "Save as"

One thing that has bugged me about Mastercam all this time, is when I get the "MCX File has changed. Save It?" and for whatever reason, I have some kind of doubt in my mind as to what has changed, or wether I need to save or not, I dont have the option to cancel the operation. I either have Yes or No.

 

Does anybody else ever think this (or maybe I am alone here... )

I think that too Mick. I lost a lot of hours work when I first started using MC.

i've thought that too but when in doubt always save. Ive learnt the hard way
