tnc530 post

Hi peeps

I have modded a tnc530 post processor and its almost ready to use,But theres 1 little problem.When I do a drill or tap ,it puts the xy postion on the first line then after the drill cycle it calls the same position up with a m99,Meaning it would do the hole twice.Anyone know what I need to change?

Im using mx3mu1.

The hole will not be machined twice because the hole cycle isn't performed when the cycle is read. It's first being performed when M99 is read. Similar to NCYL G8x on Okuma and G8x Z L0 on Fanuc

Mic is right on... it positions at the first xy location but will not drill that hole until the second (same) xy location is called up during the cycle

 

EX:

22 TOOL CALL 6 Z S0

23 L X-1.8556 Y+0 F MAX M5 (Move location)

24 L Z+1.5 F MAX

25 CYCL DEF 200 DRILLING ~

Q200=+0.5 ;SET-UP CLEARANCE ~

Q201=-1.5 ;DEPTH ~

What do you mean by "stop". Do you mean optional stop?

tnc has a actual stop code

On my machine to end the cycle it is stop m05.

right now my post just does the m05.

Also would like to know about my helix cycle!!!

Doesn't M05 just stop the spindle? That's all it does on mine.

In my post there is an dill cycle for that.

The only minus is that the backplot is'nt correct.

yeah it is a drill cycle,Would just like to know how to add it to my post!!!
