ftp site

i am trying to put a file on the ftp site.every time i hit page to open in windows explorer i am asked to enter a pass word.tried using my password for the forum with no result.what am i missing.thanks ahead of time.

I have the same problem at work ... but not at home or school (NTMA) ...

 

I followed instructions above, but asked for username and password ... only difference is I have Internet Exployer 7 ...

 

I can download, but not upload ...

 

My IT guy says he checked his firewall, but no indication of blockage ... other FTP site opens OK

I'm getting the same issue. In the past I could download onto the site. Now I get asked for my user name and password and it won't take my mastercam information.

 

Anybody have any ideas?

 

...I just talked to my IT guy. He doesn't think it's anything he did. Does anyone know where the button is to get my password sent to me again? I know I did it a couple of months ago, but I can't find it now.

Try turning Passive mode off.

I'm feeling really, really stupid at this moment: what link above??? Are you talking the little icon at the top of my post? When I hit that it takes me to my profile, but I must be blind because I'm still not seeing where my password is.
