Is there a way to change font color on one level and not another?

 

I use some levels as "info only" and no geometry ... this would make them stand out and easier to read ...

Use the only and all masks.

 

eg: only level 2 & 3, all lines.

I installed Verisurf's free add on and it has a note

pad built in it for such notes etc.

 

It adds a tab to your drop down menu's.

Say you have two levels. level 1 has geom and level 2 has the geom you wish to change. Go to all>level>select level 2. Now right click on the colour button on the status bar and choose the colour you want.

 

Now say that level 2 has wireframe geom and dimensions and you wish to choose only the dimensions on level 2. This time you would first go to only>level>2. then go to all>entities>drafting>dimensions.

 

There is also some toolbar buttons to make this even quicker.

Eric, this is not what I am after ... I want the "level's names" in the level manager to have different colors, not the geometry ...

Maybe try using the Level Set column.

 

 

Not your color thing, but handy to find stuff with a right mouse click after they have been labeled with different labels or messages.

we are doing that now in connection with what Thad suggest ... but was hoping for another way of making them "stand out" better ...

 

Maybe in an up and coming release, they cam add color, bold and italic options, AND add these option to separate both machine and toolpath groups in the Operation Manager as well ...
