It depends on your hardware

the kind of work you do and how

your system is set up.

We've got 4 workstations/programmers here

and don't have more than one or

2 crashes a month.

Some guys doing heavy surfacing work

with large STL filesd crash constantly..

See Ricksters crash thread.. he was crashing

so much he could not get his work done..

The problem turned out to be restrictive

Windows permissions settings..

I'm running XP pro 32bit. Seems to happen more since mu1. Most of my crashes happen when selecting different toolpaths in the op manager. if I am working on a program I get a crash about every 7-10 minutes. Like I said, usually when highlighting toolpaths to get ready to verify. Sometimes when selecting the post button too. I'll post back tomorrow with the error code. The only other program I have on the computer is office 2000.

Ah yes, the dreaded "Encountered Improper Argument" error.

That's quite informative, isn't it? Feh.

Does anybody besides myself think it would be better if Mastercam just disappeared from the screen when it crashes instead of insulting you with a totally useless dialog box to click through first.

Or how about a better dialog box? Something like,

Mastercam Crashed, Do You Want to Continue?

[Yes] | [No] | [Help]
