I want to modify my Mazak post to work correctly.

Jeff - It looks like updatepost.dll made a mess of things here. Are you sure you picked the right previous version (X3) when you ran the dll?

I would start by reading John's Sticky and running the dll again making sure to choose the correct source version.

If you still have no luck, I can rebuild the missing logic, but I would need a copy of the X3 post to do so.

Jeff - I got rid of the errors in the .err file, but you should really have CNC, IHS, or your local reseller take a look at the post for you.

Someone has cut and pasted code from the Mpmaster or another similar post without declaring the variables/strings used nor paid any attention to the postblocks being called or the logic behind the code.

I would be very careful until it has been checked by a reseller and take action to see that it isn't modified again without good reason and a qualified person to do so.

I, in all honesty, have never seen a post with so many mistakes. frown.gif

I hope you get this resolved before a mistake costs you a spindle or an expensive part.

BTW - You have mail.

Yes sorry for the delay in response to everyone. I have been in touch with Robert Perkins and he has been gracious enough to help me. I am trying the post he looked at and he said as you can see it still has some errors but I tried it and it did post it. I will keep in touch.
