I have a dump question. I can not remember how to turn solids off when I boot up. I only want some computers to have solids. I thought I just had to put a ns at the end of the mastercam path in properties.

Its a /s to turn it on, nothing and its off.

Open up your mcamx directory in your local drive and double click MastercamLauncher.exe

 

look for solids and under the status colum you can click the drop down menu and disable it. Then click on create short cut.

 

And launch Mastercam with the new short cut. It should launch a window that says it has been modifyed to open with out solids. click ok and you should be good.

 

My reseller showed me how to do this and its much better than the path switches.
