Convert to Metric from standard

how do you convert to metric from standard? Using X4

Settings/Config bottom of page it says current

and has a drop down menu.

 

click on the appropriate one(metric) you want and ii auto

converts all visible geo

Change your config or xform scale your part.

Dont have any toolpaths done yet. If you do you are hosed. those dont convert when you change configurations last time i tryed.

I remember when I was in Vo-Tech school the teacher told us it would be wise for us to learn metric conversion if we planned to make a living in the machine trades, because eventually everything in the U.S. would be metric.

I Proto-typed a part 6 months ago. I did everything in inch, tools etc..

Now its going production, print and sketches etc will be in Metric. I would like to be able to check a box and repost it in metric. I've always believed that you had to scale the geo etc, but after seing Partmaker and Esprit and I think even geopath (way back) had the ability post out in metric or inch. Is there something I'm missing ???
