Recommended Posts

Got this error:

rs 232 load bad

Data was stored as comment

check the program being received

1st time I have seen this one

I search from the start of (Tool 5) for (, and the only 'comments' It would find were

(1/8 BALL 1 DEG SHORT)

N6705 T5 M06 ( 1/8 BALL ENDMILL)

N6706 M08

N6707 (MAX - Z1.)

N6708 (MIN - Z-2.)

N6709 (TOOLPATH - HMM)

N6710 (STOCK LEFT ON DRIVE SURFS = 0.)

at the beginning of the 1/8 ball paths and..

N4698 G00 Z1.

N4699 (1/8" BALL 1 DEG (SHORT))

N4700 (TOOLPATH - HMM)

N4701 (STOCK LEFT ON DRIVE SURFS = 0.)

N4702 X7.241 Y-2.2032

where the other 1/8 ball paths are.

I went thought the whole program and it does not

look any different then the last 5000 programs

I have sent to this machine.

Any Ideas why this would happen?

Any help will be greatly appreciated

Cheers

Rick

I run all my programs through InPlot.

It has a syntax checks for:

Mismatched comment

Mismatched brackets

Feed w/o spindle

feed w/o coolant

double addresses

Bad value

G0 with feed

letter "O"

No value

Bad arc

G and M code range (you input the codes needed)

No G40

Decimal point

Really saves me lots of time checking programs!

P.S.

I don't work for or have any affiliation with the software mfr.
