The first thing I do is reboot the machine.

The second is check the video drivers.

If IT is doing this stuff automatically you may

be the victim of a Windoze driver update.

It is a really large mode.. check the

"Parameters chord height" setting on the Shading page of SYstem Config. I normally run this at .002/.004 for large parts and kick it down some

for tiny ones.

All files behave the same, a different program doesn't give me any trouble, just mastercam. It doesn't matter whether it is surfaces or solids, it behaves the same in Mastercam.

GCODE: I will try this and let you know.

I have put in a request to upgrade the graphics card, hoping this might help.

thanks for your help

You have a good video card.. there is something wrong somewhere.

Go to Settings/System Config

then the Screen page

In the Graphic support field

the settings should be

"Open GL" checked

"Disable front buffer" checked

If you change anything you will need to restart Mastercam for it to take effect.

Have your IT people confirm that you are running

Nvidia drivers.. not Dell, HP. MS or something else

Nvida Drivers Page

The leatest greatest drivers are Release 197.90

dated 5/28/10
