Just got this software,

What a great weapon, started leaning it today. I can repair bad G&M code faster with this than editing pst files. Not to mention Machine to Machine reposting. takes only a few seconds once your cfg file is set up properly.

So many controls, so little time. a much needed tool

Kris is a genius at this stuff and one of the few guys you never have to worry about honoring his word.

 

If MC was smart, they would hire him and make him the product manager.

Things would actually get done.

Man that is too cool! Seems to be priced well also! Can you keep us posted on how it's working out? That would be a very powerful tool to have especially if you have several different machine tools/controls.

I had Kris help me out with the first config file. Great guy to work with. now what used to take 1 or 2 hours of manual edits takes less than a minute to re-post. Great for archived approved programs that are schedualed for another machine

Dave, We have over 70 cnc machines. Scheduals are tight. no machines sit, all are running 3 shifts. When We have an approved program from 1 machine it may not run there agian. Somtimes we get notice a hour or so brfore setup begins. There's not time to regen everything in MC and re-prove a program. We now can convert from Verticals to Horazontal's vise-versa, Mori SL to NL, NL to Integrex to Emachine's ect.

We rarly edit the raw code. Its the header's, tool change config's, macro's, tool numbers, so on so forth that need edits
