hi there, i was wondering if someone else encounter following problem in x2: i was programming a part with several highspeed toolpath. i decided to change one more highspeed pass to another .like waterline-scallop)and i got the error :no cut found. yes i did check ,planes, depth cut,etc.... i restarted the computer many times, since the mastercam dealer said it has some to do with the speed of my computer. well it s brand new dell 64bit,3ghz,8gb. doubt it is. i am juist confused since the previouse toolpath worked. after regenerating it it wont. happened a lot.

any ideas?

I used to have the same problems when I was working in x2.Its not a fix but it is a work around just write a new tool path hit enter dont select any geometry tool or enter any params exit out of toolpath page and keep the toolpath. Then copy and paste geometry, tool and params of youre problem toolpath then regenerate.

It may work if you shut down MCAM and restart and create a NEW toolpath WITHOUT copying any drive surfaces, solids or wireframe. Copying toolpaths fail on occasion or you may get the famous .2k error or invalid arc error when backplotting. Also, set your angle from 0° to 90° on the steep/shallow page if not already done.
