Wheel Zoom Sweet

Ok I have to say wheel zoom is a great idea not that I have plaed with it.

Ps.And the geo. tree out of SW would be good to so you can turn difrent geo, on and off.

Hi folks this is a offical as of Beta3.

 

iowajim62 you would need to contact your dealer and I think that is CCS and they would tell you how to get on the list.

 

But it is to late for this beta testing.

We are around the corner from release.

wheel zoom is great... but get proe, autocad, and sloidworks have even better features

 

like double clicking the wheel for fitscreen

holding the wheel for dynamic part rotation

 

i like mcam for cutting parts but for fast 2d drawing autocad blows it away

 

i like macstercam for solids and parametric modelling but proe and solidworks are on another level

 

i like mcam for surfaces but rhino is better

 

i guess that is why it is called mastercam not master-do-it-all

 

i accept it but lets not live in a vacum and try to learn from others

Scott I agree with the first part but not the second statment so much.

I find MC pretty fast for simple 2d.

Plus the fact that I draw and machine it without converting and spending the money on Acad for simple 2D stuff.

I just loaded my Beta 3. THANK YOU CNC Software for a very nice christmas present!

 

Love the mouse zoom. Now if I can just figure out a way to adjust its step increment.

Those are both GREAT ideas.

catia V5 can do it all pan rotate & zoom. all with the middle mouse button.

(pick middle hold = pan)

(pick middle hold & right button hold = orbit)

(pick middle hold & right button pick = zoom)

It's a time saver

You'll be able to get it for free if you're a current V9 user. I'm pretty sure V9.1 will not be a patch(meaning you can download it from here or from Mastercam) but you should be able to get it from your Reseller ONCE IT IS RELEASED, but if you're a V8.x user, you'll have to pay to update to V9.x

 

p.s. - V9.1 is not released yet so don't ask. It's still in Beta Testing.

 

p.s.s - V9.1 Lathe is AWESOME!!!! The Verification actually verifies threads, unlike the previous verifivation which verifies V-Shaped grooves.

Well at least they added the Fit Screen to the Home button in V9.1
