Lathe threading tool compensation?

Phil yes. I go to the lathe tool manger and save the tool I am using to a level. I then move it to the right place. I then use the custom and pick the origin. On a thread tool that is what is important the radius doesn't mean anything. I can then Verify and not worry about hitting the shoulder.

Should it be better yes, but I can always make what I need and that is important.

I'm kinda faking it now using an id grooving tool.

I've sent an enhancement request in, I encourage everyone else to send it in too, so we get moved towards the front of the line ? (maybe) :p

A lathe enhancement. Ha ha. That department has been closed for years. I think since Iscar introduced the groove/turn tool back in 2004. Lights are out and every one has gone home in there.

I do remember asking my dealer for the change feed speed in part off back in v9. So you might see this request in X11. Keep that lathe maintenance pooring in.

Let's see if the lock feature works in the new forum...:)
