CUSTOMIZABLE DRILL CYCLE

Hi Guys,

I'm trying fix it "CUSTOMIZABLE DRILL CYCLE",please could someone help me how remove it from my post processor or machine def.

 

I'm using mcx5,MPLFAN (modify for lathe mori seiki w/fanuc 10T)

In the cycle parameters page, select a standard drill cycle....that should do it.

If you have use canned drill cycles checked in your machine dif,they have to be configed in the post.

If you uncheck them.drill cycles will post long code.

Therefore if you have use canned cycles and they are not configed in post it will post out custom drill cycle just as you are getting.

At least I think thats right.

It's not at all clear what you're actually trying to do.

 

Looks like a lathe post, are you trying to get a specific output?

 

The out of the box lathes posts don't have canned cycle support built in, so that may have to be added but a bit more on what you're actually trying to get would be helpful.

1- SELECT MACHINE TYPE (LATHE IN MY CASE)

2- OPEN MACHINE DEF

3- FROM MACH DEF SELECT & OPEN EDIT THE CONTROL DEF.

4- MACHINE CYCLES - LATHE DRILL CYCLES.

5- UNCHECK CANNED DRILL CYCLE.

can you give me the line or data in the post for MPlmaster that will support full retract in drilling cycles ? That would work very nicely.

or what code i need to change to make this happen, i am using X6 and the fanuc control on a 2 axis slantbed.

G98 will give you full retract

G99 will retract to your R value.

 

in the drilling op's linking parameters branch, under clearance...uncheck the box for "Use clearance only at start & end of operation."

 

That should give you the G99.
