Door open request

I recently just got my work to send the PO for Mastercam (yay no more damn gibbs) and I am putting together some sample code from all of our machines so the developers at in house can make me a post for our machines. 2 of the machines I have are Daewoo VMC's with Fanuc 21i-mb controls. I am wondering if there is a M code for "door open request which can be commanded inside a program before a M30 so the operator doesnt have to switch into handle/jog/rapid then press the door open request button physically at the end of every program? Is there a way to do this to make the operators life easier?

Don't know if its any help but on our CMS ARES 5 Axis router with a Fanuc 31i A5, with split doors its

M49 RIGHT DOOR OPEN

M50 LEFT DOOR OPEN

M59 RIGHT DOOR CLOSE

M60 LEFT DOOR CLOSE

 

maybe a pair of these work for yours???

Check your machine parameters. On our Moris there is a parameter that controls whether or not the door unlocks at M1, M0, M30.

take a look in the machine builder's manual. it should be in the keep relays section. if i remember correctly it is not a Fanuc function but machine specific

The M50 allows you to open the door but hangs the machine and wont finishthe block guess I will be looking into the parametyers. Thanks for the help.
